Tate doesn't have to work for anything. His trust fund allows him to buy whatever he wants, he takes classes he knows he'll get an A in, and his governor-father keeps him from getting into too much trouble. When Tate meets Shelby, he's captivated by the one woman who refuses to come easy and does everything he can to get her to succumb to his charms. After working tirelessly for three years, Shelby can finally afford to move out of the dorms for her senior yer of college. Shelby's life has been so difficult and she can't trust many people outside of her two best friends. She's not really interested in getting to know her new neighbor but when she learns that he can help her pass her Advanced French class, she reconsiders spending time with him. The author did an amazing job connecting me to Tate and Shelby. I felt such a broad range of emotions with this story. They both have hurts in their pasts that affect their actions in the present and they help each other move past those experiences. Tate and Shelby complement each other perfectly. This story draws you in and doesn't let you put it down until the end. *I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.*

I really enjoyed this one. While there isn't anything particularly spectacular about it, it does have a nice story with a very easy flow to it. The writing is excellent and the characters are interesting, it just didn't have that "awww" moment I needed to make this a 5 star read. Tate was great with Shelby though and I really appreciated how he didn't push her. Overall the book did keep me entertained and I would definitely recommend it. Tate is the typical trust fund kid. Floating through college without any real purpose, partying a bit to much, and generally not taking anything to seriously. Shelby on the other hand has had to work for everything her whole life and no matter what life has dealt her, she keeps pushing forward. It's no wonder their first meeting isn't that pleasant but there is something about Shelby that keeps Tate coming back. She might be the first thing he's ever had to work for and he doesn't plan to lose.

Blind Spot was not what I expected. Tate was more of a lost soul than a bad boy. Until meeting Shelby, his life was a piece of cake. Shelby taught him that the more effort you apply, the more precious the reward. Tate was Shelby's total opposite. She knew anything worth having was a fight to hold on to. Her life was full of turmoil and hurt. Her ability to trust is non-existent and her BS radar is permanently on high alert. Meeting Tate taught her that she was deserving of love and he brought back the hope that she had given up on due to her hard life. There was a learning curve for Shelby and Tate as gradually they built something special. It seemed to stall halfway through but still delivered a lovely read.
