This was a good quick read, I loved how it got right to the point with Beth and Conner, no Dilly-dallying around, just two consenting adults knowing what they want and not wasting time but willing to take it slow and get to know each other. I enjoyed it!

Beth Baker wears several hat, juggling duties as mother, physical therapist and part time ranch employee. Conner O’Neil former Navy SEAL is reticent and somewhat reclusive as he deals with his personal issues including PTSD. When he sustains a serious injury, Beth tends to his wound. Soon the emotional barriers fall, each providing support, as attraction builds between the two. It was a relatively quick read, that I enjoyed. I would have liked it to be longer to build more depth.

4 Stars! Cute, fast-paced, quick read, perfect for a day at the beach. This was previously an anthology ‘Lone Wolf in Morgan Valley’, can be read as a standalone novella and this book is now part of ‘The Miller’s of Morgan Valley’ series. Beth and Connor are the main characters and Beth has two teen sons, Mikey and Wes. Didn’t really mention any of Connors past but does mention Beth’s past with an abusive ex-husband quite a bit…. *I received this book free & voluntarily reviewed this book.*
