About this ebook

Lincoln figured the new artist in town would be one of their mates. He’d heard she was a real ball buster and thought that maybe she would be Tristan’s mate because Tristan said he couldn’t handle that. But when Ginger introduced him to her sister, Grace, he knew from the moment he touched her she was meant for him.

Grace was in shock. Garrett had taken her into his office when the show was still going on and told her that she had all but one of her paintings sold, including the twelve that she’d given him permission to sell. Twice now she’d had to put her head between her knees, which wasn’t easy with the dress she had on, in order to not pass out. Sold all but one? How was that even possible?

Lincoln sat at her feet on the hem of her dress. His attempt to to calm her shaky nerves had her about addled, and when Grace suddenly stood, the dress ripped from shoulder to hip. Standing there trying to get herself covered, she felt her temper snap. Now what was she supposed to do? Grace didn’t know whether to kick him or beg him to help her.

'Lincoln' is book three in Kathi S. Barton's "The Manning Dragons" series and picks up pretty close to where the ending of 'Hudson' left off. Do you remember Ginger from book two? If you do, then you'll also remember her asking the Mannings to contact her sister Grace to let her know she and her daughter were free of her husband and were all right, and ask her to come to see her. Yep, you guessed it. This is Ginger, Grace's twin sister, and Lincoln's part of the story. Lucas had been the one to make the call and the arrangements to bring Grace in. He'd also done some checking and found out she was an accomplished artist who was vastly underselling herself and her work. After browsing her catalog and buying two of her paintings, that's when Lucas called a friend of his, who was also an art critic/dealer, and had him take a look. He knew Grace was going to be famous and just hoped she didn't outgrow his little studio too soon. Ginger definitely has an abrasive personality when she and Lincoln first get together. As intense as the chemistry is, that's how hard Ginger fought it until the night fireworks exploded between them. When it was over, Ginger's heart and mind seemed to have an argument and her mind won. She unleashed on Lincoln, telling him he had taken advantage of her and slapping him. Lincoln was hit with a plethora of emotions. He was angry, sad, wounded, heartbroken. Will these two ever get to have their happy ending? What a great addition that makes me just want to continue reading this series as quickly as possible.
