‘Avocado the turtle’ is a very adorable story. It is a fun read for all young readers. The story introduces us to the Avocado turtle, who is quite different from others. Avocado is a high-spirited and jolly turtle who loves to interact with others. But these behaviours use to separate Avocado from her turtle community. And one day, they isolated her. She was trying to change herself to fit in place, but a day came when she met Lemon. Lemon, honey, and bacon showed Avocado that one need not change himself/herself just to fit in someplace. Though this book might be targeting young readers, but it conveyed an important message that one should not change his/her behavioural pattern just to impress others. The pictorial representation of this book is wonderful. The flow of the story is easygoing. This is a perfect bedtime story with a good moral. It contains such an inspiring story. I do appreciate the hard work of the author in crafting this beautiful fun read.
