I really enjoyed reading this fascinating shifter/witch romance. It has an intriguing, well-paced plot with “expect the unexpected” situations. The characters are well-developed, complex individuals who display realistic emotional feelings & are inclined to be devious at times but ultimately complement each other. There is: a alpha wolf shifter (Milo) is duty-bound to capture or kill a witch (Nadia) who has apparently gone over to the dark side & has committed murder only to discover that she is his soulmate, her conniving brother (Nicholas), wolf shifters, witches, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, adventure, action, deceit, betrayal, murder, false accusations, confrontations, magic, danger, threats, enemies, misjudgment, suspicions, distrust, desperation, compromises, attractions, deception, devious plans, violence, conflict, surprises, a claiming, mates, contentment, some steam & a well-deserved happy conclusion.

Bounty Hunter. PNR. I'm a fan of both and this hits the spot! Milo is sent to C or K(Catch or Kill) the witch. The file says she dangerous and an outlaw from her coven. When he finds her he and his wolf have a hard time believing the file. There is something about her. When she turns her power on him...well that's more of the story you'll have to read. Witches hate wolf shifters as much as wolves hate witches. So why is she having such a hard time just running to save herself? There is steam, trust, questioned loyalty, surprises-both good and bad--really bad. Can they find closeness and a connection they've been missing? Could they work together to prove the real story? While this is a stand-alone with no need to read the other books for those who have there are cameos of past heroes to enjoy. This one is filled with steam, family, betrayal, questions asked, puzzles solved and so much more. I love this couple who come from feuding families and fight to find their love and the real truths. A clear 5 star read.

Absolutely wonderful. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. To think love can either get you killed or save your life it is all circumstantial on what fate has in store for us. And Milo has found that to save the life of his mate he has to put his own life at risk to do just that. I can't wait for Erik's turn along with the new Dragon keepers series.
