The book was very basic at best didn't I even attempt to cover basic programming methodology or even the basis of shell coding. Maybe I missed it altogether.

Has all the ingredients that would help a student to study and it's precise detail makes it more interesting.

Scripts provided are not explained. List common commands, but no code examples of them.
