While all other books target the study of all Embryology to elaborate the congenital anomalies in detail, the purpose of this book is to interpret the details of gross anatomy with data derived from development, of the individual as well as of the species. This does not, in the least, belittle congenital anomalies but keeps in mind that the book is meant for first year medical students.
