focused on trying to bring a family together during a zombie apocalypse, the main character is a girl who knows both karate and how to fire guns. this means the zombie bits are pretty repetitive and becomes a secondary plot to a somewhat budding romance, the book ending with a potential love triangle. not the best zombie or romance book as all the action is very tame, but also not the worst. a good read it you are in-between books.

It was a tough read and focused too much on unimportant details and not enough on key details. It's filled with typos and poor grammar. It honestly feels like more of a rough draft than a published book. It leaves you on a cliff hangar and didn't really get to a point where you can feel satisfied with the direction of the book.

I don't know if it even gets to the apocalypse part. The first few pages are boring with only teases of the coming apocalypse; deeply focuses on unimportant details...😐🤷‍♂️
