A tear-jerker story that has passion, romance, heartbreak, and love miracles all packed into one tale. Galen was Korinne's high school sweetheart before she met and married Carson Anders. After Carson's passing, she moved back to her hometown, and met up with Galen again. The rest is giddy history, with a miracle or two thrown in.

I kept trying to get into this. The ideas were good, but the characters were stuck in the 50s a bit. Why'd she feel the need to apologise so much, especially for stuff she wasn't responsible for?

Was very inspiring, proves love conquers and you should believe in fate and things happen for a reason! Love the entire story from page one to very end. Was very intriguing, sympathetic, caring and treating each other equally and with respect and heartfelt. Loved the entire story including how the second book continues from the 1st.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author L. P. Dover is a southern belle living in North Carolina with her husband and two beautiful girls. Before she began her literary journey she worked in periodontics, enjoying the wonderment of dental surgeries.

 She loves to write, but she also loves to play golf, go on mountain hikes and white-water rafting, and has a passion for singing. Her two youngest fans expect a concert each and every night before bedtime, usually Christmas carols.

 Dover has written countless novels in several different genres, including a children’s book with her youngest daughter, but her favorite to write is romantic suspense.
