In the first chapter I thought I could never like a character like Trip/Wally and was sure I would never finish the book. By the end I was in love with Walt myself and confess to adoring all elements of the story. What an ingenious way to demonstrate a change of character and confidence through pet fostering!

Gosh what a lovely story with a sweet, endearing hero. What a dear man Walt was.......I fell in love with him myself! Orla was the perfect fit for him. And don't forget about Pudding!! A great read filled with laughter, heartache and joy.
