Carolan Sherman, RN, BSN, CST is the director of the surgical technologist program at Bergan Community College in Paramus, New Jersey. The program at Bergen is the only one in its state to be nationally accredited. She was personally recommended by Nancy Allmersm, who is the outgoing author from multiple previous editions. Mary Chmielewski, CST is a professor in the surgical technologist program at Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey.
