Bagels &Salsa followed after numerous reviewers of Guyland wanted to learn more about the relationship of the New York Jewish protagonist, Laila, and her Hispanic husband Eduardo who grew up in rural New Mexico. The novel is a finalist in the Texas Writers League Author Contest.
