Lord Ravenscar's Inconvenient Betrothal is the second book in author Lara Temple's "Wild Lords and Innocent Ladies" Series. We have met Alan Rothwell, Marquess of Ravenscar in the previous book in this series. Alan and our heroine, Heiress Lily Wallace first meet when Alan goes back home to purchase Hollywell House a neighboring home near his family home. Lily is a distant relative of the previous owner and now is the current owner of Hollywell House. And OH MY what a first meeting! There are instant sparks or should I say a wielding mace between them... LOL! I liked Lily from the start and Alan is a charming rake in the beginning. But as with all of Lara's stories her characters are so much more than what you first glance on the surface. This was an excellent story and I'm absolutely loving this series!
