This is book two in The Nashvegas Series and it continues EJ and Bri's story and omg this series just keeps getting better and better with each book that you read. EJ and Bri will not give in to the record companies demands that want to separate them instead they fit there heals in harder and become stronger together with the help of there family but it will not be plain sailing. Things don't always go as planned in life but working together you can accomplish a lot and that is what EJ and Bri are determined to next but how will it all end. Laramie Briscoe is an absolutely amazing author and she always takes her reader's into the story right from the first page and her books are so addictive that you can't put them down and Omg what a cliff hanger ending and I can't wait to read the next book to see what will happen next. In the previous book we watched them fall in love. Now we watch as they dig in and do the heavy lifting to make their marriage work. Can they swim? Or will they sink? I have gone a fallen completely in love with EJ and Bri and the entire extended Thompson family. This book pries back the lid on many of those family dramas that were previously hinted at. Giving us lots to agonize over while our leading couple stumble along, getting it right some of the time and making a giant mess of it at others. This book has a much softer cliff-hanger ending, but it still left me howling in exasperation. I have so many questions I want answers to. Once again, it is guaranteed I’m coming back for the next one. I’m desperate to find out where they go from here. It feels like I've been waiting forever for this book. In reality, it's only been about 6 months, but that's close enough to forever when you're waiting for the rest of a story as engaging as this one. Bri and EJ are one of those couples who get under your skin. They have some crazy good chemistry even when things are rough between them. This second book in the trilogy sees the Power Couple learning about each other and learning to share the bad as well as the good. Things do get emotional, and Laramie Briscoe hits on some tough subjects, but as always, she tempers the bad with some swoony, sexy times and a few chuckles now and then. I really enjoyed where this part of the story left us, and I'll be anxiously waiting for the final Nashvegas book. This couple and their story has quickly become a favorite for me in both the oops marriage trope and the rockstar romance trope, but that's no surprise from this author.
