Cute story about a girl who loses her memories and her best friend who is helping her get them back. The blending of her getting her memories back and what she discovers because she doesn’t have them is very well done.

A friends-to-lovers romance Sera and Hugo have been best friends for years which is why they have been Phoenix buddies since they came to the Academy. When Sera is her memory, Hugo is there to help her recover but something feels different about their friendship. I enjoyed this sweet friends-to-lovers romance. They make a lovely couple. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

I dragged my feet reading this one and I am not really sure why. A Phoenix with amnesia is a bit weird but Ms Greenwood pulls it off. It’s short and sweet and gets the job done!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
