This was an unique twist, two supposed enemies find themselves as mates. I enjoyed this book and like hearing from Molly and Dracye again, a unicorn and a dragon! Nathalie and Derek are a cute couple, he is afraid to bring her home to meet his parents because she is a unicorn. I loved their response but really wanted to kick his brother in the pants, I also liked the way Derek and Nathalie save the day when His brother Steven tries to ruin things. I would recommend this book and series, it is an easy quick read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book 13 in The Paranormal Council mating love story for Nathalie and Derek. Ok I hated the jealous brother of Derek's and I think he got what he deserved and hope he finds his perfect mate like the Unicorn Nathalie and the Lion Derek did. I loved how these two are so bold and jump head first into this mating. I hated that they had to keep their mating a secret in the beginning all because of Lions and Unicorns not getting along. Lion shifter Derek and unicorn shifter Nathalie, who works on the Council, is sent to work with his company as they develop a campaign. His brother Steven is dead set against a lion/unicorn match up and causes major trouble as these two are hunter and prey normally. Problem is that Deriek and Nathalie are mates. The characters are well developed and determined. The storyline has a lion shifter team working hard to make a deadline after a major issue. Loved their chemistry and how she was accepted at the business and at his home. The ending was a great start to their new lives.
