The love story of Rhodopis and Abu has no resemblance to Cinderella. The storyline follows along with the previous two stories but that's it. Seth’s temple is chaotic, violent, and evil. I don’t see a happily ever after coming from there. Rhodopis, is a slave of Seth’s and possibly a goddess who falls in love with Abu, a minor god of Ra’s. To continue the storyline this tale must be read as it ends in a cliffhanger. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rhodopis Does not know where she comes from, she only knows that she has been a slave forever. Seth is a vengeful god and makes life miserable for all. Rhodopis meets Abu, he is a god who works for Ra. Abu feels that Rhodopis is a goddess and he is going to prove it to her. This was a good read though sad in parts. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rhodopis has been Seth’s slave for centuries. The god of Chaos is cruel but she has learned ways to stay safer. When Ra comes to visit she is noticed by a member of his entourage. Garnering the attention of a god is seldom a good thing but she can’t seem to avoid him. Standing up to Seth turns out much worse! Laura Greenwood brings the ancient gods to life. Their cruelty, kindness, and romance make the story fascinating to read. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
