I am missing so much context. I have not read any of the previous books in this series and apparently, those 11 books had a purpose so I will now be going back to see what I missed. Aside from that, it was a very enjoyable book considering I was missing a lot of background. Bless Reagan for being so compassionate and patient, I don’t know many people who would be so kind and understanding of Eustace’s reluctance without his explanation, which we do get eventually. They were super cute once they got together and I love this universe so much! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Enjoyable short read about Reagan a witch who can see visions of the future and Eustace a reindeer shifter/doctor. Reagan is at the Fae Winter Court celebrating with her brother, Josh, the beginning of the winter season. Reagan is talking about Eustace who is resisting being around her, so the mating bond doesn't activate. When Eustace hears the party planner for the charity gala for the hospital quits, Eustace turns to Reagan hoping she will do it. What occurs as they work together setting up the gala was an engaging enjoyable romantic story that I received via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Eustace is a doctor and reindeer shifter who has been placed in charge of getting the charity event up and running after the organizer quits. Reagan is related to his last patient, is a witch who can see the future, and he asks her to take the lead of organizer to the event. They are mates but Eustace does not seem to notice until his boss asks about Reagan, awakening him to the possibility that he cares for her. Tension surrounds the charity event and these two have some decisions to make. The characters are wonderful, so caring and eager to help with family and friends. The storyline has all the drama, intrigue, surprises, steam and much more, that keep you glued to the pages. It all comes together in a great ending.
