About the author

Jess Elliott Dennison is the founder of Elliott's, a hidden gem on Sciennes Road in Edinburgh where she creates seasonal menus for the local neighbourhood, along with simple baking, good coffee and interesting drinks. The Elliott's Kitchen is stocked with a well curated selection of store cupboard ingredients, wines and kitchenware, so the local community can pop in for inspiring tips on what to make for dinner.

Jess's second premises, the Elliott's Workshop, just a few doors down from the Kitchen is home to Jess's creative team and mail order department. It's where Jess tests her cookbook recipes and develops in-house Elliott's products.

Alongside running Elliott's, Jess is a regular contributor to food and culture magazines, including Courier and Liz Earle Wellbeing. Her recipes have been featured in Vogue, The Telegraph, Monocle, Delicious, Homes and Interiors and Good Food.
