About this ebook

Nasser Safar isn’t what you’d call a long-term man. Over the last few years he’s been raising funds for an education initiative for his Tribe, and while he’s still focused on that, he’s also been playing the field, trying to outrun the memory of the woman who left him. She chose her love for her sister over her love for him. It’s a wound that still haunts Nasser, even while he continues the education project that had been their shared dream.

Willow Everstone left the only man she’d ever loved after he’d given her an ultimatum: stay with him, or leave to care for her cancer-ridden sister and let him go. It was the hardest decision she ever had to make, and in the end she lost her chance at a future with the love of her life. Now, with her sister in remission, Willow is ready to follow her dream of bringing education to all parts of the world. Her first project? A newly minted international initiative...in Nasser’s country.

Neither Nasser nor Willow are happy having to work together to create the Tribe’s new school. But when a visa issue almost kicks Willow out of the country—leaving her education initiative in limbo—Nasser offers an unconventional solution: a fake engagement. Despite their earlier reluctance, the marriage of convenience soon turns sultry glances into steamy nights. And when a surprise baby calls the “fake” part of their plan into question, they’ll have to decide if they’re willing to give their second chance at love a fighting chance, or leave their blossoming future behind.

The Sheikh's Sham Engagement by Leslie North. This is Nasser and Willow's story. These two fell in love in college but broke up when Nasser gave Willow an ultimatum. Stay with me or its over. So Willow left to help take care of her sister. It broke both their hears. Nasser sowed his wild oats after but was never satisfied. Now Willow is back in town to be the project manager for the upcoming new school and Nasser handles the donations. Now they have to work together. From the first moment they seen each other again the attraction and the feelings all came back. They made love the first night. Now Willow might have to leave the country because she came to early and her visa is going to expire. But she needs to stay to finish the school and to top that she is now pregnant with Nasser's baby. So he offers to marry her so that she can stay in the country but their is still some trust issues and lingering feelings from their breakup. Can these two work out their problems and get to the happily ever after. The answer is yes. I enjoyed watching them fall in love again and learn about the now adult versions of themselves. Leslie North’s final story about the brothers of Amatbah. Nasser had been working with Willow to set up a school system for his tribe years ago. Her sister became ill and she had to go home to help care for her. Nasser was heartbroken but had pushed her away. Now Willow is back to actually help get the school up and running. Nasser has to work with her. The school is one of his passions. However, planning is not his strong suit. Willow is a planner, sometimes seeming to plan to much. A mixup in her visa application causes a problem for her to be able to stay long enough to complete the project. The answer is for her to marry Nasser. But it will be in name only. A sand storm strands the couple at the school and that night, thanks to a broken condom, they become expectant parents. Things seem to be going well but Nasser is still resistant to planning. He feels Willow is to rigid. And he fears she will leave him like she did before. When he finds a folder on her computer with get-aways and information about trips, he is sure she is just biding her time. An argument has Willow moving out of the palace. Nasser has a conversation with his brothers who tell him he is the cause of the problems. Can he now convince Willow he is ready to change? And that he really wants to marry her and really create a family? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Safar Sheikhs Series. In this second chance romance, Nassar is the youngest brother and about to turn thirty. When Nassar starts to work on the new education program, he is reunited with his college sweetheart Willow. Nassar and Willow were together throughout college and broke up when Willow had to return to the US because her sister had cancer. Nassar thought she didn't want to be with him and they broke up. Now two years later, they are working together and both are still attracted to the other. When they are stranded at the building site of the new school due to a sand storm, they are forced to share a tent for the night and sparks fly. When Willow needs help with a visa to stay in the country, they are given the option to marry so she can stay in the country. I liked this book, it was clear Willow and Nassar were in love and belonged together. I think Willow wanted a future with Nassar, but he was scared she would leave him again. This was a great end to this great series. Well done.

About the author

Leslie North is the pen name for a critically-acclaimed author of women's contemporary romance and fiction. The anonymity gives her the perfect opportunity to paint with her full artistic palette, especially in the romance and erotic fantasy genres.

The truth of the matter is she loves her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her normal, day-to-day persona! Her bestselling books focus on strong characters and particularly women who aren't afraid to challenge an alpha male. Inspired after years of travel, her stories are set all over the world, from the tough streets of Russia to the beautiful beaches of the middle east.

Leslie fell in love with romance when she first picked up a scrappy, dog-eared romance book from her local library. She began writing soon after and the rest, as they say, was history. She now lives in a cozy cottage on the British coast and enjoys taking long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.
