This book makes spells, charms and enchantments completely accessible to modern readers. No more "eye of newt and toe of frog" - you will understand the magickal elements of everything in your kitchen and be able to utilize them without any convoluted hocus pocus. In addition to providing solid information about the meanings of and ways to use common ingredients, Lexa Roséan is a funny and great writer making this a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining book at the same time. If you want to go even deeper after this book, I also highly recommend her book "The Encyclopedia of Magickal Ingredients" where you can look up every household ingredient alphabetically. She also has a great blog where you can ask her questions about her instructions, and she is very responsive.
