The author has pulled us into the lives of Becker and Cynthia and never lets go. He is in town to investigate for a charity and falls for the daughter of the minister. Things go sideways almost immediately but Becker will do whatever it takes to keep Cynthia safe. The story keeps you turning the pages with lust/love, steam and suspense. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this romantic suspense story. It has an intriguing plot with mystery that really pulls you into the story. It is a fairly short and quick read. I love the characters. Becker and Cynthia are a great fit with combustible chemistry. The heat between them is scorching and hot. As the plot unravels in this story so due the secrets.

Becker and Cynthia are electric together. This was a little forbidden and naughty and lots steamy. I practically devoured this. I couldn't put this down and I love the surprises with Becker and who he was to Cynthia's dad. It's sweet and sexy with a little edge.
