** spoiler alert ** I loved the first story so much that I quickly went to Amazon for the next book. Luckily enough it had just come out. I love Dane and Allyson together and their love is strong, or so I thought. They're still dealing with high-society snobs that don't want them together. It seems they cannot leave well enough alone. Allyson really needs to toughen up. She lets everything get to her, won't let Dane cut his ruthless mother out of his life, and she lets outside forces influence her. Of course I want to see how this wraps up for Dane and Allyson and I want them to get their well deserved HEA. Allyson just needs to grow a backbone for it to happen. My one gripe about this story is she won't let Dane cut the toxic people out of their lives and she won't even cut her sister out of her life when she has shown how much she dislikes Allyson. Dane seems to be the only person in her life that truly loves and cares for her yet she tosses him away to "protect" him. It became annoying and frustrating. I understand the ending had to be a cliffhanger, but geez, break the poor guy's heart instead of talking to him first? I guess we'll see how this plays out next month. I still enjoy this series and recommend it. I just wish Allyson's character had a little more backbone and realized she didn't have to be so weak and uptight about money. She had the heart of a billionaire.
