About the author

Barrington Rowe earned his master's and bachelor degrees in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies. He grew up in the island of Jamaica, West Indies, and spent his early childhood in the city of Kingston and the spicy hills of Trelawny. His family was poor (he and his brother had to share one pencil and a single textbook for school) and reared chickens in their backyard as livestock for food. At one point in his childhood, his parents had to leave him with his aunt while they sought opportunities for a better life. He grew up in a poverty-stricken environment where lack and want was his abundance. Through the hard knocks of life, his determination to be successful, and the love and encouragement of his parents, he has achieved academic and financial success. He now resides in Ontario, Canada, and lives with his wife, Janet, and three children, Jovaughn, Jordan, and Breanna. His childhood has left an indomitable mark on him and has provided him with a set of learned lessons that he has consistently applied in his life. Lessons that have contributed to his success, whether it be personal, spiritual, academic, or professional. He shares ten of these core lessons with you in this book.
