This is a second chance romance, that had a spectacular crash and burn when it ended apparently. Our elegant, put together, Parisian sub runs into our reclusive, brash, American Dom, at an event for the uber secret BDSM society they both belong to. The sparks are still there, and they both have calmed down, so they agree to explore. Then, it all implodes again, for the same reasons, it seems, it fell apart for before. He is so stubborn, she needs to hang onto to herself, and all seems hopeless! Now, how will this come together in book 2 & 3?

Lila DuBois's books are addictive! If you like drama, passion, humor, emotions, anger,erotic BDSM this is one book for you. This is the first book in a trilogy and usually the first book is slow, not this one. It started with a gang and did not stop. It is sooooo good, the passion between Solomon and Vivienne is off the charts and full of every emotions possible. they have a history and just when you think all is getting better, Lila throws in a twist. I could not put my tablet down and can't wait for the next installment. If you don't like trilogies, I recommend you change your mind, this one is a hell of a good book! Fantastic, I give it more than 5 stars

Solomon and Vivienne had a very good relationship until it was ruined. Now they meet again in Paris at a BDSM club. The sparks are still there but there is a thin line between love and hate. Will this be a second chance for these two or is this the start of war! If you like a little BDSM with your romance this book will fit the bill.
