Great second chance romantic suspense. These two are so well-matched, have matured and learned from their previous experience, what they want and what they don't want. The plot cranks up the anticipation, is very suspenseful, intense and has just the pace to intertwine their leftover baggage. Love Jack, he is bold, serious & determined. Bliss is just as serious, determined & independent so they wrestle with their emotions. Jack knows she's still the one and man's up because he can't just walk away this time around. This was a phenomenally suspenseful and steamy second chance romance story. Jack is a Navy Seal turned CEO of a humanitarian relief program and a consulting company. Bliss is an employee for an international task force on a mission to find and save a missing young woman. Jack and Bliss let each other get away because 1)Jack couldn't open up his heart and 2)Bliss wasn't able to share an important part of her past with him. Still the One is a captivating must read readers won't want be able to put down filled with suspense, heartache, danger, secrets, forgiveness, passion, and love with wonderful characters they will fall in love with. I absolutely loved reading this book from Lisa Hughey and can't wait to read more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A great second chance romance. Still the One is the fourth book in the Family Stone series and is Jack's story with Bliss. This is the first book I have read in this series and I really enjoyed it. The characters are strong, independent, and have amazing chemistry. The story is well written, with danger, suspense, intrigue, and a second chance at love. Lisa Hughey has been writing romance since the fourth grade, which was also about the time she began her love affair with spies. Harriet and Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys later gave way to James Bond and Lara Croft and Jason Bourne. Exploring the complex nature of a profession that requires subterfuge and lies fascinates her.
