Emotionally thrilling, smoking hot sexy, action packed second chance romantic adventure filled with passion, danger, intrigue and betrayal. This is a quick read with a cliff at the end, but it is there for a reason since this is only part one of three. Amanda Skye is sweet, proper, smart and known as the Scientist. She is a CIA operative that was raised to be one and on the run after the man she fell in love with betrayed her. (or so she believes) Seth Cage is sexy, strong, smart and known as The Fixer for The Brandon Family Empire. It has been three years since the only woman he ever loved betrayed him and now he is assigned to retrieve her. Loved this highly entertaining adventure and look forward to part 2.

Lisa Renee Jones is the queen of breathless. Poison Kisses proves that. Seth and Amanda are intensely sexy. Their lambada of dangerous love and smart manipulation is the ultimate for any fan of cat and mouse thrillers. Not only are the characters seducing each other, their setting the bait to lure in the reader as well. The only flaw is that I have to wait to see what happens next.

It's hard to write a review on this one. It's only the first part of the story and I need more. But I guess that says it all!! I need more and this part definitely has me hooked, I need to see what happens. Amanda and Seth have an ugly past. They need to get past it to work together on the case that brought them together again. I can't wait for the next part of this story. If you hate cliffhangers then you may want to wait for all 3 parts to be released but definitely put this on the must read list! I highly recommend it.
