A perfect, quick read! "Calm the f_ down, lady, I just need a pair of pants and a ride into town." How can you not love a book with a line like that? In all seriousness, this bonus addition to the Dark Pines series had it all: heat, action, suspense, humor (I chuckled out loud quite a few times), and plenty of "awww" moments (especially at the end). I also got to catch up with the Jaynes siblings from the series. While it wasn't necessary to have read the series before reading this book, I highly recommend it so you can get the utmost enjoyment (especially Hayley's book with her...colorful and creative vernacular). This is a great book if you are looking for a well-written, concise story and only have a few hours within which to read it. HUGE Liza fan!!! (I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)
