As always, Lynn Raye Harris has produced another top-notch HOT story! I live for these HOT guys and their ladies. For whatever reason, it took several chapters for me to really get into the story. Mostly because I absolutely HATED Everly. I'm not even sure why, other than she’s a weak people pleaser who doesn't follow her own mind or heart. She finally started to grow on me after a while. Gem, I absolutely LOVE!! While HOT Shadows is not my favorite book in the series it's definitely still a 5 star read and has a very happily ever after.

This saturday I treated myself to a Me-Day. No work, no news, no family or friends. Just me, a cup of tea, some cookies and Lynn Raye Harris new book Hot Shadows. Yeah... I just love the books and reading about the Members of the Hostile Operations Teams and what they are up to. The pranks they play on each other are just hilarious. This book is another five-star addition to the series. It's got romance, action, suspense and steamy scenes. When you’re looking for a great escape, books are the perfect way to transport you away from it all and this book does it so well. Another must read! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book really had it all. Everly and her mum were in trouble, but the only one she could turn to was her ex, Jax and ex military man who didn't want anything to do with her until they were shot at. Danger and suspense in this non stop action ride made this to be another fantastic book. The chemistry and romance shown was in-depth and so sweet at times. Jax really was a romantic guy once he got over his animosity. Well done, a romantic deep almost fun story with loveable characters and intense situations. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
