This introductory book on Management Information Systems (MIS) is designed to serve as a text for the students of management (BBA and MBA) and computer applications (BCA and MCA). Today, many management information systems are in widespread use by the managers at operational, middle and senior levels. Professor INDRAJIT CHATTERJEE is presently the Vice Principal of IIAS School of Management, Siliguri Campus, West Bengal. He has eight years of experience in industry, especially in the areas of manufacturing, information management and management information systems (MIS). He taught for eight years in business schools in various capacities. He is also a consultant in the area of higher education.
