This is a short story included in the Justice series featuring DI Lorne Simpkins and her partner DS Pete Childs. The two of them have been trying to grab The Lynx, who is responsible for the deaths of several young women. And now he has abducted another girl who fits the profile. The Lynx wants to play a game. The cops have arrested 2 of his men and he wants them back. In return, he will release the girl he has. But there are rules .... and surprises. This short story (50 pages) is packed with fast action, suspense, and solid characters. An excellent addition to a terrific series! Many thanks to the author who pointed me in Amazon's direction to get the digital copy.
