Welcome to Moon Grove, where magic and murder are in the air!

When broke, desperate reporter Zoe Clarke takes a job in a tiny town to reboot her life, she discovers her new home is overflowing with magic, supernatural beings — and paranormal mysteries!

This box set continues Lily Webb's spellbinding Magic & Mystery series of paranormal cozy mysteries with the full-length books 7-9 in one convenient bundle:

Shifters and Sabotage

Crystals and Criminals

Witches and Witnesses

Shifters and Sabotage, Book 7:

All’s fair in love and roar…

Zoe Clarke’s life is changing shape. After solving a litter of paranormal mysteries, Zoe’s ready to slow down and focus on domestics with her new live-in shifter boyfriend, Beau.

But someone in Moon Grove is eaten up with jealousy about their relationship — as Zoe learns from the series of disturbing anonymous letters addressed to Beau in their mailbox. So when Zoe finds Beau trapped in his golden retriever form, it's up to her to sniff out what happened.

From his obsessive co-workers to the secretive community of shifters surrounding him, Zoe's convinced the attacker is someone in Beau's pack — until another prominent shifter is found locked in their animal form.

Can Zoe track down the culprit and reverse the shifter curse? Or will the attacker take a bite out of her too?

Crystals and Criminals, Book 8:

Sometimes the truth isn’t crystal clear...

Head Witch Zoe Clarke has never believed in fate. She’s sure she's gotten all she has through her own hard work and determination… until a traveling psychic sets up shop in Moon Grove and superstition sweeps everyone in town.

But when the seer accurately predicts the death of a prestigious client, Zoe snaps out of her spell and wonders if there’s more to the mysterious mystic than meets the eye.

From the psychic’s shadowy past to her parade of paranormal patrons, Zoe’s certain the soothsayer has something to hide — especially when her crystal ball goes missing and more of her clients meet unfortunate fates.

Will Zoe divine the identity of the culprit before they strike again? Or will this be her last case for the foreseeable future?

Witches and Witnesses, Book 9:

Leadership can be murder...

Head Witch Zoe Clarke is heading to court. Since her election, a rash of magical mysteries have haunted her administration, and now Head Warlock Heath Highmore, Zoe’s partner and close friend, stands accused of murder.

But when a prominent witness turns up dead and the court of public opinion accuses Heath of orchestrating the murder to silence his opponents, Zoe refuses to let her friend take the fall for a crime she’s certain he could never have committed.

From the Head Warlock’s power-hungry family to the many political enemies he’s made over the years, Zoe’s convinced someone has framed Heath and left him to hang — especially when another witness drops dead.

Can Zoe expose the real killer and prove Heath’s innocence? Or will the culprit be their judge, jury, and executioner?

Interesting and funny full of quirky characters. Definitely different! Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 August 2020 I haven’t read the previous tales so I thought starting at book 7 might be difficult. However, that is not the case at all. Lily’s characters are a delight. This book is full of not just quirky characters but witches, shape shifters, fairies, wear wolves and vampires all living in harmony/ disharmony in a small town. Zoe tries to keep them all working together against the odds as the head witch with varying degrees of success. I am fully on board with these cozy mysteries and will be reading books 1 to 6 as soon as I have finished this set. If you are new to Lily Webb like I was, I recommend giving it a whirl. Thoroughly enjoyable tales. If you have never read any of these book before you can hop in and enjoy in isolation. Intriguing, mystery, murder and mayhem that keeps you guessing. Love the characters and will now be reading more of these tales from Lily Webb’s pen. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Excellent Box Set of Wonderful Series I have read this series since the beginning, I think, and this author has certainly created a complex and quirky magical world with delightful characters, many of whom I've seen grow and change over the course of the series. I love that. Somehow, I missed book 9, so how delightful to have three books together, including one that I missed! Here are my reviews of book 7 and book 8, included in this collection. Shifters & Sabotage Review: This is such a delightful series! I believe I have read most of them. By now at book 7, slipping back into the world is like catching up with old friends—if old friends were witches and shifters! I love the relationship between Zoe and Beau. Loved the banter between them before things went south. This mystery had some unusual elements, which I thoroughly enjoyed. While I don't read many shifter books, I loved that this book’s core mystery centered on a shifter who was cursed to stay in his animal form. I don't think I've ever read that in another shifter book. So it's fun to run across an unusual concept. While I don't mind murder mystery cozies at all, it is fun to mix it up every now and then and have a cozy that doesn't have a dead body (or three) at the center of it. Just another great installment in this fun paranormal cozy mystery series. Crystals & Criminals Review: Mercy, there was a lot going on in this cozy mystery! The book starts with a meeting at Zoe’s, the Head Witch’s, house. During this meeting, she learns from a friend about Madame Astra and her fortune-telling app. The next day, Zoe meets her at a Chamber of Commerce meeting and has a rather disturbing reading. No sooner is Zoe back in her office than she finds out about mysterious goings-on. Can she figure out behind it? And how exactly does the app work? Can it really be as Madame Astra says? That seems impossible. Madame Astra's crystal ball goes missing, too. Zoe will learn more about her magic as well. A lot happens in this story with both the familiar characters as well as new ones. I really enjoy the little touches of humor that the author is able to weave in, especially in dialogue. The characters in the book have their own little unique sayings that reflect their paranormal community, turns of phrases on what we normally would think the words should be. I love wordplay like that. This is the 8th book of the series, but it could be read as a stand-alone without causing much confusion. Although, of course, you would probably appreciate the story more knowing the full background. I received a free copy of this collection, but that did not affect my review.
