As a young girl growing up in New Jersey, Marie Therese was an avid reader using books as an escape, dreaming of someday writing works of her own.
First inspired to write by Louisa May Alcott, after reading Little Women, Marie finally put pen to paper when an opportunity to merge her two passions presented itself. As a collector of Vintage Costume Jewelry and an Instructor of Jewelry Creation and Design, she began her career as an author by writing articles for Vintage Fashion Costume Jewelry magazine once the magazine’s editor, Lucille Tempesta, encouraged her. Through the support of her friends and family, especially her daughter Kristen who told her to “never give up”, Marie Therese realized her dream of writing The Mysterious Letter: Aunt Lee's Legacy, her first novel.
Marie Therese’s writing encourages her readers to embrace both the faith and hope that life’s obstacles and crisis’ can be overcome with one simple turn of events.
