About this eBook

Hockey star Kyle Murphy pursues matchmaker Marissa with the same single minded purpose that she pursues him- except that he wants her for himself and she wants him for someone else!

Matchmaker Marissa Collins needs to grow her database of high-end dating prospects if she wants to retain her demanding client list. Scouting Philadelphia’s newest hockey star seemed like a good idea – until the notorious playmaker makes a move on her. She’s never mixed business with pleasure, and she can hardly start now when a high priority client has requested an introduction to the town’s hottest bachelor.

Power forward Kyle Murphy may lead the league in goals, but scoring with a sexy matchmaker forces him to rethink his game. Marissa only sees him as a prospect for her stable full of commitment-minded single women, so Kyle has to make a new play to get her to see him in a new light. It’s a tied game poised for a shootout. Can playmaker Kyle find a way for them both to win?

Kyle and Marissa's story is the third book in the Murphy Brothers series, while it is connected to the other books you can enjoy it as a standalone. Kyle is a professional hockey player and has a rule about dating/hookups during the season especially since the team is heading into the playoffs. Hookups are getting old for him but he hasn't found anyone special that wants more the fame and money of his career. Marissa is a professional matchmaker and her client has her heart set on a match with Kyle. Marissa has lived in the shadow of her celebrity mom her whole life and now she's her fulltime caregiver. Kyle's willing to break his no dating rule for Marissa he believes there's something special about her but she's scared of taking a chance. Steamy hockey romance. Looking forward to reading Axel's story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Two Happily Ever Afters for the price of one. This book had some angst, a little drama, and a whole lot of cuteness. Marissa’s working hard to find Stacy’s perfect match. But when she reacts so strongly to the hockey hottie, she’s going to have a devil of a time matching him with the heiress. Stacy’s crashing headfirst into her own destiny, so she may not need that much help from the matchmaker after all. These two couples were pretty adorable, and I really liked the way they worked together

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Marissa and Kyle. Kyle is a hockey player and has his sight set on winning a Stanley Cup. Marissa is the daughter of Brandy Collins, singer extraordinaire. Unfortunately for Marissa Brandy was hurting an accident and is now taking care of her while keeping the bills paid. Marissa is hired by Stacy as a matchmaker to set up a date between her and Kyle. But when Marissa meets Kyle at the charity event, things get a little crazy. They have a connection that can't be denied. Follow them on their adventure as they navigate the hockey world, and the matchmakers out for a big payday. Even Stacy gets her happy.
