About this ebook

The #1 bestselling pioneer of "fratire" and a leading evolutionary psychologist team up to create the dating book for guys.

Whether they conducted their research in life or in the lab, experts Tucker Max and Dr. Geoffrey Miller have spent the last 20+ years learning what women really want from their men, why they want it, and how men can deliver those qualities.

The short answer: become the best version of yourself possible, then show it off. It sounds simple, but it's not. If it were, Tinder would just be the stuff you use to start a fire. Becoming your best self requires honesty, self-awareness, hard work and a little help.

Through their website and podcasts, Max and Miller have already helped over one million guys take their first steps toward Ms. Right. They have collected all of their findings in Mate, an evidence-driven, seriously funny playbook that will teach you to become a more sexually attractive and romantically successful man, the right way: No "seduction techniques," No moralizing, No bullshit. Just honest, straightforward talk about the most ethical, effective way to pursue the win-win relationships you want with the women who are best for you.

Much of what they've discovered will surprise you, some of it will not, but all of it is important and often misunderstood. So listen up, and stop being stupid!

Overall some good ideas in here. Some of it is very basic stuff if you are already a well adjusted male, but not everyone is. Also lots of actionable plans which is key to improvement. I think the authors could have done a more thorough job on emphasizing the importance of physical attractiveness, since it's been shown in the literature that the better looking you are, the more women will over look bad personality traits AND ascribe to you good personality traits you don't even actually possess. The physical attractiveness halo effect is one of the strongest, most consistent, phenomena in mating. More could have been said here beyond grooming and fitness, which ironically is only as far as the PUA scene goes as well, and actually talked about considering cosmetic procedures. Learning about male physical aesthetics and following through with dermal fillers has done more for my dating life than any behaviour change.

Here is the thing. Only reason I read this book was because James Alutcher recommended. Other than that, I wouldn't read this book. Overall, this book gives you lot of information about becoming what women really wants from men. As book described Whatever they explained in the book could take you years to achieve because in the book they recommended that you need to be in shape and they are right, but what if you are not in shape? Is that mean you can't get a girl? I gave this book 4 stars because this book will not get you a girl friend in one day, this book explains how you need to change your habits if you really want quality woman of your life. And he is right! Would I recommended to my friends? Answer is NO But would I recommended this book to those people who struggles to understand women perspective of view then YES!
