About this ebook

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Giver of Stars and the forthcoming Someone Else's Shoes, discover the love story that captured over 20 million hearts in Me Before You, After You, and Still Me.

They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

A Love Story for this generation and perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, Me Before You brings to life two people who couldn’t have less in common—a heartbreakingly romantic novel that asks, What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?

Reading this book was very enjoyable. I appreciate the author's attention to detail and her style of writing. After finishing the book it left me thinking, and perhaps that was part of the experience, but I didn't feel very invested in the end. There was a huge build up and then the ending was very short in length and emotion. Also, I thought there were a couple of nicely fleshed out characters, but some of them were annoyingly two dimensional and that detracted from my experience

I fell in love with the movie, so I had to read the book. It was a big let down especially when the author wrote the screenplay. This book unless you are familiar with British lingo is quite confusing. Frankly I felt more lost for most of it and stuck on sections because the words confused me so that I wasn't sure what was happening. The relationship between Will and Lou is nice but it's underwhelming as well. I was hoping to feel so much for these characters development but I wasn't feeling it.

**SPOILER** I read romance novels quite a lot and this was just horrible!! I read the second book hoping it be better, but it wasn't. As a Christian I couldn't believe the way this book ended and that people actually liked it enough for it to become a movie. I don't recommend anyone to read it and I don't recommend anyone to watch the movie. The Trailer for the movie was misleading and lead you to believe in HOPE, but this book had none of that. This wasn't a true love story, He never told her he loved her and her love wasn't good enough for him to continue living. It was just horrible.
