Giới thiệu về sách điện tử này

Mechatronics and Data Acquisition Systems provides the fundamental knowledge of mechatronics engineering and its applications in control engineering, instrumentation engineering and multidisciplinary practice. The book explores recent advancements in mechatronics technologies and the state-of-the-art research on the design, fabrication, and characterization techniques for the development of electromechanical systems i.e., sensors, actuators, and transducers. It also delves into the operational aspects of these systems and multidisciplinary approaches with monitoring devices. This is a complete and useful reference tool for engineers, researchers, and students.Whilst exploring recent advancements, this title addresses the key challenges that affect the creation of mechatronics systems and explores future pathways, such as Artificial Intelligence for acquiring and analyzing data. - Provides state-of-the art research on data acquisition systems - Includes new designs of mechatronics devices for control and instrumentation engineering - Covers the modelling, simulation, and fabrication of micro and nanoelectromechanical systems for sensors and actuators - Presents examples of practice in design, modeling, and implementation of data acquisition systems

Giới thiệu tác giả

Dr Hassan Elahi is a Mechatronics Engineer and has completed his PhD from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He has worked as a Research Associate in the same department. His PhD research thesis was on “Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting by Aeroelastic Means. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Mechatronics Engineering, National University of Science and Technology, Pakistan. He has obtained Award of Honors in his master’s degree. Dr. Elahi has received best paper award related to energy harvesting system for mechatronics devices in 2018 by MDPI.

Dr Hamid Jabbar is from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, NUST College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering. He is Alumni of the same department, graduating in 2002. He has over ten years of industry experience in developing electronics and data acquisition systems for aerospace navigation sensors. Since 2013, from the start of his PhD from Hanyang University of Seoul, South Korea, he focused his work on piezoelectric materials and devices based on these materials. In collaboration with the industries in Korea he obtained experience in design, manufacturing of wide variety of sensors, actuators, energy harvesters and transformers based on Piezoelectric ceramic materials. He is currently developing a lab-scale setup in Pakistan to indigenously develop these materials. He is also developing the associated interface circuits and data acquisition system for the piezoelectric devices to commercialize them.

Dr. Amir Hamza is an Assistant Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at NUST College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. He did his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, KSA. His master’s degree is in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, from Seoul National University, South Korea. His undergraduate degree is in Mechatronics Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan. His research interests include Robotics, Advanced Manufacturing Techniques and Materials Engineering. He is also serving as Director of the “Robot Maker Lab established under the National Centre of Robotics and Automation (NCRA).
