Weed butter, or cannabutter, is the optimal way to transfer the THC from cannabis into an edible. Plus, with the right method, you will transfer the full spectrum of cannabis’ chemical components, including non-psychoactive ones that quietly benefit your health.

In this book, you will learn how to infuse weed into butter, oil, coconut oil or virtually any fat you prefer. But you can’t just sprinkle your stash onto a recipe, as creating truly great weed butter is an art. Packed with helpful color photos and step-by-step instructions, this book shows how to make the perfect weed butter for any edible and every application, from reducing stress and battling pain to helping with PTSD and overcoming night terrors.

About the author

Mennlay Golokeh Aggrey is a multidisciplinary cannabis entrepreneur who has been working legally with medical marijuana since 2005. Through her visibility, advocacy for inclusion, and education efforts, she hopes to help navigate an authentic future for women of color in the cannabis industry.

Her love for cooking goes back to her childhood. Born in New York City to West African parents, she has learned that the strongest links to culture are found in food. As a cannabis entrepreneur and creative director, she works for many cannabis firms, including Whoopi Goldberg, and Maya Elizabeth’s business designed to relieve everyday discomfort through edible and topical marijuana relief.

Her career path illustrates a shift for many women involved with cannabis. As perceptions of the plant and its legality have changed, she has parlayed her deep belief in cannabis’s nurturing and healing power into a profession and passion. She currently resides in California and Mexico working as a writer, consultant, and researcher exploring the African diaspora in Latin America through food and oral history.
