About this ebook

Valentine has joined the ghost hunting team, but there is still more than enough work to go around. The ghost hunters encounter a spirit haunting a classic car and find you are never too old for a bit of good old-fashioned parking...

EXCERPT:

The sun dipped low over the mountains, illuminating the lake with a dusky orange and pink glow. The still water reflected the sky so perfectly that, if not for the bar of black hills, you wouldn’t be able to tell where the water ended and the sunset began.

Valentine unentwined her hand from mine and stood, making me look up in surprise. The golden light gleamed in her blond curls as she shook them. Her hands dipped to the hem of her tank top. In one smooth movement, she pulled it up over her head, baring the pale rise of her breasts over the white curves of her hips. I watched, mouth open in surprise. She wriggled her mini-skirt down and then reached to pull me to my feet.

I stood, stumbling. “What are we doing?” I asked, dumbly.

She ran her hands over the stomach of my T-shirt, lightly, then tugged at the hem. “Going swimming,” she said, a wicked grin on her heart-shaped face. “Hurry up.”

“I don’t know if that’s a good idea,” I told her, nervously scanning the beach. “What if someone sees?”

Valentine turned her gaze on me, dusky desire in her eyes. “Then we’ll give them something to look at.”

This 10,000 word novelette is intended for mature audiences.
