About the author

Jurgen Becker is one of the world s most successful garden photographers. He has won numerous international awards for his work. His photographs, which capture both outstanding garden architecture and the beauty of plants, fascinate the viewer with their awe-inspiring, often magical lighting effects. His work is published each year in a wide range of calendars, books and well-known international magazines.In 2010 and 2012, Jurgen Becker was named Photographer of the Year by the Garden Media Guild in London. In addition to receiving this prestigious honour, he was also selected as Features Photographer of the Year in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Since completing his studies at the Arts Academy of Dusseldorf, he has been working as a freelance photographer.
