Brayden was closes to the pack even though he is human. When he comes across Kendra, a wounded wolf, only to realize she was a shifter. Their story took my heart of a rocky road with twist and turns. Kendra has to face her past, now she had Brayden to protect her. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I am so grateful to Booksprout who introduced me to Michelle. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book of hers and can't wait when next one is due! This story is part of the Paranormals of Avynwood series so do start at the beginning as it is such a great series. This is the fifth book in the Paranormals of Avynwood series. You can read it as a standalone but I honestly think this series is best read in order. Brayden is Ari and Paige's friend. He's human and knows about paranormals and the Avynwood pack and is away from home to attend college. One night he saves Kandra, an injured wolf shifter. He feels a pull toward Kandra but she doesn’t trust anyone and is on the run from an ex that spent years abusing and torturing her.
