Ratings and reviews

As this is book 2 of a trilogy I must review it as such. If I could disconnect it from book 1, King of the Unblessed I may feel differently, but alas, I can not. It did feel the whole gambit of emotions which is always good. Plus it did have a good amount of super hot sexy bits which is even better. However, the plot just fell flat and seemed too convoluted to me. You may well enjoy the book much more than myself. This is just my own opinion.

This is another exciting story in this world of contradictions, good and evil, mortal and immortal, fantasy and reality. The complex characters introduced in the first book are all here. Lucien continues his evil effort to take control of the Mortal and Immortal Realms. The war between Ean and Merrick continues. Twists, turns, deception, the absence of Juliana, and the changes in Hugh are central to the plot, and lay the foundation for what comes next. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Highly recommend this series! So much going on, brilliant characters, angst with lots of twists and turns and plenty of passion making this a page turning read which will have you hooked. Can't wait for the final book!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
