This was an excellent read. I loved the chemistry and tension that ebbed and flowed between George and Quinn. I found this couple's relationship to be complicated and captivating. They say that there is a very fine line between love and hate and trust me when I say this two don't just walk this line they dance all over it. Intense emotions, turmoil, drama, desire, humor, sweetness, heart, angst, cuteness and lots and lots of spark flying, temperature rising sizzling steam are woven throughout this well crafted tale of animosity, persistence and love. An absolutely terrific romance that will melt your heart and leave you smiling.

Another fabulous book by Mira Lyn Kelly! I absolutely loved Georgie and Quinn. Quinn came off at first as a super playboy but a few chapters in and you realize he is a good guy at heart. Georgie comes off as a super hard but you learn she had her heart broken in college. When Quinn and Georgie meet it is instant attraction for Quinn and dislike from Gerogie. Which I loved because to me it made Quinn work for every word, smile and kiss. Georgia wasn’t hateful to Quinn she genuinely didn’t want to be around him. However, her best friend’s boyfriend is on the same hockey as Quinn. So they end up at the same places ....a lot. Quinn uses these times to slowly break Georgie down to give him a chance with her. This is a dual POV, whitty written dialogue and sexy times like no other. I loved this book and can not wait for more books in this series. Like always Ms. Kelly does not disappoint. Read this book and book one “Dirty Secret”. These books are totally worth your reading time. I received and advanced copy for an honest review.

The one man who broke her heart seven years ago is in the ER. Even worse, he can’t seem to remember who she is. It’s taken George YEARS to get over Quinn, only to realize maybe she’s not truly over him after all this time. She hates that she reacts to him and that he appears to be the man who disappeared seven years ago. But she’s hurt and can’t seem to forget the broken promises. Mira Lyn Kelly writes an amazing second chance love story, with a twist. It’s love at first sight, until it isn’t. It’s forever, until it isn’t. Promises are broken without Quinn knowing it. I loved that both families were slightly dysfunctional. George's brothers are overprotective thugs, while Quinn’s brother is a liar with a gambling problem. I loved that Quinn went all out to prove to Georgie he was the man for her. Georgie’s lack of hockey knowledge was also refreshing-not a puck bunny! Forgiveness is key in this relationship. I highly recommend this novel! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
