This is one of the better reproductions of old joinery texts. It is not just a scanned copy. It is searchable, but I found that the results shown in the side aren't always on the page indicated. This may have to do with text size and how it flows. Buy this book if you've you've already got a pretty good understanding of joinery and woodworking, but you want learn more of the details on how the traditional joinery was done. The writing is clear and the illustrations for the most part are pretty crisp. It's definitely worth the eight dollars or so that I paid for it. I've downloaded many that were free, but in the end, aren't really readable. This one is exactly what I needed.
