About this eBook

A Respected Lawyer. The Town Pariah. A night at the Boudoir. Will love prevail?

Helen Jameson is tired of being Bear Grass Spring’s laughingstock. With little to lose, she flees the only home she’s known, and bargains her future away to an unscrupulous woman. Her experience three years ago with the town lawyer, Warren Clark, cemented her belief that no man is to be trusted. No one will ever care for her. She is on her own.

Warren Clark is a patient man. He has waited years for Helen’s forgiveness. When his dreams for reconciliation are dashed by her rash actions, he must decide if the future he envisioned with her is one worth fighting for. He quickly learns that rescuing her from the Madam is easy. Earning her trust is his greatest challenge. Now, Warren must convince Helen of his love while he battles those in town eager to separate them.

Will Helen and Warren be courageous enough to relinquish the bitterness of the past and discover the joys of loving one another?

Order Montana Renegade today to discover Warren and Helen’s second chance at love.

I have enjoyed reading the BGS series very much. One thing though, I wish you could say how the Celtic names of the McKinnon family are pronounced ie I know Sorcha is pronounced Sarah, but what about Cailean and Ewen?? I guess I could Google them.

I received an advanced copy and this is my honest review. This book has it all, secrets, charlatans, thieves and a virgin auction. The characters in this book are wonderful, l love reading about them and see what is happening in their lives. This story tells you what happened between Helen and Warren and how secrets can hurt. An excellent read that I would recommend to all who love romances with a bit of intrigue thrown in.

In this fourth book in the Bear Grass Springs series, we once again meet up with Helen Jameson. Up until now, she has hardly endeared herself to the readers, but one thing does stand out and that is Warren Clark always took her side and tried his best to protect her from the venom that she inspired from the community. Abuse in families has been common right through the ages, and when one has little recourse through the law or agencies such as we have today, a person loses not only their self-respect but also the ability to determine the way forward. Helen has been pushed and shoved around by her malicious mother and brother, and one finally comes to understand her unfortunate behavior from the past. Warren does everything he can possibly do to save Helen from herself, and at first, it would appear that he is succeeding. However, when unexpected events transpire, he has to reconsider whether he has been wise in his choices. Once again, this book brings out the necessity of communication in any relationship, especially as so much heartache could have been avoided if they had just trusted one another enough to bare their hearts. This book is well written with complex characters and a multifaceted plot. It kept me engrossed right through to the end, arousing feelings that I wasn't aware I had! I look forward to reading more in this series, and hopefully Mrs Jameson and her dastardly son will eventually get their comeuppance! I received a copy of this book for free and this is my honest and voluntary review.
