Ratings and reviews

I hope this is the start of a series. There is really nothing that says it is part of a series but Summer does have three siblings which would make for a great series, just saying. This book is full of mystery, suspense and romance. I love the setting, plot and dialogue in this book. Summer Dawson is an athletic, beautiful woman with problems from her past and now someone is trying to kill her. Clay Hitchock is a former cop who is trying to start a new, what better place than Alaska. When he finds he must protect the beautiful sister of one of his friends he may be in for more than he bargained for. Clay and Summer find themselves in danger on so many levels. I love the sparks that fly between them.

Sarah Varland lives in Alaska with her husband John, their two boys, and their dogs. Her passion for books comes from her mom, her love for suspense comes from her dad who has spent a career in law enforcement. Her love for romance comes from the relationship she has with her husband and from watching too many chick flicks. When she’s not writing, she’s often found, reading, baking, kayaking or hiking.
