A wonderful story of love found when least expected, when it seems fate steps in. She was left to make her way, when her all her family where gone and goes to apply for a job as a maid. But when that job does not turn out, a better one does! She becomes the governess for the owner's ward. When he finds out, a new governess if hired, he goes to determine what is going on. When he meets her, there is a definite attraction, but he wants to marry for love! Loved this couple was older & their jour

Olivia promised her dying sister to live life to its fullest. That's difficult when Olivia falls on hard times and takes a position as a governess. Yet Grayson, her boss, makes her want to take chances. With their reputations at stake, can the two find true love? A lovely story about found families with an entertaining supporting cast. I'm accustomed to novellas from Sophie Barnes, but this is a long novel. Be prepared for subplots and unexpected twists! Thanks, Booksprout, for the ARC.

With the death of her father Olivia is in need of a job. Seeing a possible opening for a housemaid she travels to another village only to find they have no work. Things happen that change that and this will bring Grayson into the picture. This is a sweet romance the attraction is right there in the beginning even when they both try to ignore it. I really liked the secondary characters and there are a few unexpected twists just to add spice. It was an excellent story that I am happy to recommend.
