N. MATHIVANAN, Ph.D., is Director, University Science Instrumentation Centre, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. Besides teaching micro-processors and PC hardware, he has designed and developed many PC-based instruments for research applications. Dr. Mathivanan has also published several research papers in national and international journals.
