Do you have lots of acquaintances, some buddies, but few if any deep lasting friendships? We often disregard or take friendship for granted; however, it is one of the most important relationships that we can build with each other. Kim McRae tells her story about how she keeps an everlasting friendship and the importance of this in her life including things like balance, understanding, joy and happiness. She dignifies and promotes how she cared for the growth, health, and well-being of her dear friend. She found someone she adored and understood the challenges and difficulties to maintain a long-distance relationship, but over many decades, she conquered the relationship, and today it is an everlasting friendship. The book reflects and narrates how she helps her friend through thick and thin, the good, bad, and ugly; and how you can maintain sincerity, no judgment, and trustworthiness through it all. Kim talks about the key to successful friendships, and how we should never stop looking for good people, and when found, we should always cherish, be loyal and faithful to each other. Good friends are not easy to find, but when you know what to look for in a true friendship, you may acquire an opportunity for unconditional love and respect!!!

Kim McRae, born and raised native of Washington, District of Columbia (DC) on April 15, 1957, is known professionally as Kim McRae. She is a retired Federal government worker and retired U.S. Army Reserve Master Sergeant. She began her career as a human resource professional and later simultaneously joined the U.S. Army Reserve.

This is her first book written and published. Kim has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of DC and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

She is the mother of one son, Chaise, and grandmother of five grandchildren, Deyanna, Jayden, Kennedy, Reece, and Navy (in order of age). Kim ran track in her high school days and is a sports fanatic for basketball and football, with no favorite team.

Kim spends most of her time attending New York Broadway shows, reading, eating at newly established restaurants, traveling, and visiting family members; however, her favorite hobbies are roller-skating and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle and Polaris Slingshot.

In 2004, Kim initiated and established an all-female motorcycle club called Eye Kandi MK, located in Atlanta, Georgia. This club currently has an active membership of 12 professional women. Since its inception, she has been the Chief Executive Officer of this organization. Her life after retirement includes volunteering and assisting young children with creating and developing resumes; completing and preparing simple employment applications; teaching and preparing youth how to dress and articulate appropriately for interviews; and providing other professional-level support for youth in preparation for their journey to the workforce.

Kim is a spontaneous, versatile, and well-liked woman, always willing to give to someone with needs. After winning and setting a National High School record for the mile relay, her high school coach Mr. D stated in a Washington Post news article on May 1, 1976, “Kim is probably the most versatile in this group and the senior has competed in every track and field event for Coolidge except the discus and 100-yard dash.”

Kim enjoys spending a great deal of her time with her soulmate Mr. J. Vance, her son Chaise, and siblings Jacqueline and Ernest, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews, and most of all, her five grandchildren.

Kim believes true friendships will not die and are everlasting, inspiring, needed and powerful.
