Ratings and reviews

Twists and secrets, danger and suspense - this was a fun ride. I liked both Abi and Colter, and was waiting for them to get their HEA, despite the obvious obstacles. I read this in one sitting, it was so easy to read and get drawn into the story. I eagerly await book 2!

This is Colter and Abi’s story. Abi is on the run from her abusive ex with her 7 year old son. Abi first meets Colter when he mistakes her for an escort. Some steamy scenes start here and the storyline develops really well. I don't want to give to my much away, but this is a great and captivating plot with well rounded characters and an emotional ride. This is an author that’s new to me, and I loved it. This book captivated me from the first page. I actually stayed up late to finish this book and I kind of regret it. Not because it was bad, but because I didn’t want it to end! The characters are so well thought out. They all have their own personalities that shine throughout the book. The relationships between them are perfect and this story was beautifully written. The action is described so well and the scenes and plot compliment one another so well. I love Mafia so this book was definitely for me. It had the perfect amount of action, romance and tension.
